1962 first edition hardcover book of 223 pages. ‘The Second Step’ by New Zealander Adrian Hayter, who is known for his Sheila in the Wind book about sailing from England to NZ solo. In this book he recounts his time in the Indian Army and with the Gurkha’s during WW2. Book is in good / very good condition, does have one ex-library stamp, but overall a great copy.
